We source electricity from the grid, on-site solar (PVs), and a small CHP. For Scope 2, should we use location-based, market-based, or both? Any recommendations for handling residual mix?

Report both location-based and market-based Scope 2 as per GHG Protocol. Use residual mix for untracked certificates; for on-site PV, subtract metered generation before applying grid factors. Document supplier-specific EFs if available.

Add a monthly breakdown. Many PPAs/certificates track annually; allocating PV hourly will avoid double counting behind-the-meter exports.
